Chapter18— The Yoga of Liberation
Chapter eighteen of the Bhagavad Gita, titled Karma Yoga or the Yoga of Liberation, serves as the philosophical climax of the text. In this final discourse, the divine speaker synthesizes the preceding arguments regarding duty, renunciation, and devotion to offer a comprehensive vision of spiritual freedom. The chapter concludes the dialogue by establishing the ultimate goal of human existence as liberation from the cycle of rebirth through the realization of the self's true nature.
