Chapter32— Faith as a Seed
And now, as I said unto you concerning faith, I would that ye should remember that faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true. 2And now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, wherein ye have been taught concerning the things of God, that ye may know the truth of all things. 3And now, I say unto you, that if ye have faith, ye must needs have hope; for ye cannot have faith without hope. 4And now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, if ye have faith, ye must needs have charity; for ye cannot have faith without charity. 5And now, I say unto you, that if ye have faith, ye must needs have the gift of the Holy Ghost; for ye cannot have faith without the gift of the Holy Ghost.
