And now, as I said unto you concerning faith, I would that ye should remember that faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true. ²And now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, wherein ye have been taught concerning the things of God, that ye may know the truth of all things. ³And now, I say unto you, that if ye have faith, ye must needs have hope; for ye cannot have faith without hope. ⁴And now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, if ye have faith, ye must needs have charity; for ye cannot have faith without charity. ⁵And now, I say unto you, that if ye have faith, ye must needs have the gift of the Holy Ghost; for ye cannot have faith without the gift of the Holy Ghost.
