This surah commands the glorification of the Most High Creator, asserting His absolute sovereignty over the heavens and earth, while affirming the certainty of the Day of Judgment and the accountability of all creation.

Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High 2Who created and proportioned 3And who destined and [then] guided 4And who brings out the pasture 5And [then] makes it black stubble 6We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget 7Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden 8And We will ease you toward ease 9So remind, if the reminder should benefit 10He who fears [Allah] will be reminded 11But the wretched one will avoid it 12[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire 13Neither dying therein nor living 14He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 15And mentions the name of his Lord and prays 16But you prefer the worldly lifeLeaving All Behind 17While the Hereafter is better and more enduringLeaving All Behind 18Indeed, this is in the former scriptures 19The scriptures of Abraham and Moses

1سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى 2ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ 3وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ 4وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ 5فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ 6سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ 7إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ 8وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ 9فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ 10سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ 11وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى 12ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ 13ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ 14قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ 15وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ 16بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا 17وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ 18إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ 19صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
